All children are expected to change for PE Sessions.  It is acceptable for religious reasons to wear black leggings under shorts.

All children in KS2 will require at some stage in the year, a swimming kit.  For girls this must be a one piece costume.

All children are required to wear plain black shoes, boots or trainers without logos. For health and safety reasons platform soles, high heels and open toe sandals are not permitted.

For health and safety reasons we do not allow jewellery in school.  The exceptions to this rule are small plain studs in pierced ears, small objects of religious significance and a plain wrist watch (no smart watches).  All jewellery should be removed for PE lessons.  Taping over of earrings is not permitted.  Teachers are not permitted to remove earrings.  Parents will be informed of PE days.

Extreme hairstyles, such as mohawks and patterned or brightly coloured hair are not permitted.  Students with extreme hairstyles, such as cornrows, may be exempt from this rule on racial or religious grounds. No hair dyes or unnatural colours are permitted.

Students with long hair must ensure that this does not impede their vision or provide a health and safety risk.  Hair should be tied back with hair bands/bows that are either plain black or red.

Make up and nail varnish are not considered appropriate and children are not permitted to wear any products in school unless for an out of hours function, eg a school disco.  Exceptions in extreme circumstances (eg to cover Scarring/performing arts event).

Should children arrive in school in incorrect uniform, they will be referred to the Health and Welfare Officer and if the items are available from our stock, will be asked to change.
