POST 16

Uniform is not compulsory for Post 16 pupils, but we ask that pupils in this phase wear smart / casual clothes. No blue stone-wash denim / ripped jeans or hoodies please.

We have an inclusive approach regarding uniform expectations and understand that some pupils may find some types of clothing and textures uncomfortable due to their sensory needs and / or rigid thought processing differences. The most important thing is for pupils to feel comfortable and ready to learn. If you would like to discuss any individual worries or concerns about uniform, please contact the school.

Parents/carers are asked to consider carefully the fastenings that are on each item of clothing. We want to encourage all pupils to be as independent as possible, and elastic waistbands, slip over sweaters and Velcro fastenings can make life so much easier for everyone!

Donations of pre-loved unform are welcomed into school.

We would like to thank parents/carers for their co-operation in this matter.
